Don't Be An Idiot!

A Conversation with Published Author Jonathan Stordy

Dear authors, writers and aspiring authors,

We are excited to introduce you to a captivating new book that promises to unlock the secrets of effective leadership, "Don't Be an Idiot: 6 Simple Keys to Grow Your People" by Jonathan Stordy.

In this newsletter, we dive into the author's background, inspiration, and the unique perspective that sets this book apart in the world of leadership literature.

Meet the author ✍🏻:

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?

"I am British but born in Rome and have lived for the last 25 years in Madrid. So I would say I feel Anglo-Italian with a couple of Irish grandparents thrown in."

What inspired you to become a writer?

"Having finished my executive career a couple of years ago, I was looking for a way to leave behind some learnings that have helped me. A chance meeting with a friend who had just enjoyed the whole self-publishing process got me researching the whole area, and Publishing Push struck me as a great partner."

How do you approach the writing process?

"As naturally as possible. I wrote a broad structure and thought back to great and poor examples of leadership I had witnessed. Then I put pen to paper."

What authors or books have influenced your writing style?

"I love the power of Hemingway’s books, but I doubt you can tell in my writing!! 😂😂 It is more influenced by all the press that I enjoy reading. Spain’s El País does a great job summarizing each article with a short introductory paragraph."
